The Tags page lets you manage tag configurations, track performance metrics, and organize annotation processes. Each tag represents a category of defects you're training models to detect.
Page Overview
The page displays:
- Statistics cards - Total tags, tags at target (80%+), below target, and average no intervention
- Tags table - All tags with status and performance metrics (sortable columns)
- Actions - Add new tags or export all tags to PDF/DOCX
Viewing Tag Details
Click any row to open the tag detail dialog with six tabs:

Performance Tab
The Performance tab shows how model quality has improved over time through Visual QC reviews.
Key features:
- Timeline chart - Shows No Intervention % for each model, with an 80% target line
- VQC Score toggle - Optionally display VQC scores alongside No Intervention
- Models table - Lists all VQC models with scores and training runs since last VQC
Annotation Processes Tab
Manage annotation processes to track class breakdown and image counts for training data.
Features:
- Summary stats - Total annotations, checked images, and total images across all processes
- View modes - Switch between Table view and Comparison view
- Add Process - Add a new annotation process with class breakdown data
- Edit/Delete - Modify or remove existing processes
- Clear All - Remove all processes at once
Editable Features
Several features can be edited directly from the tag detail dialog:
Next Steps
In the Next Steps tab, click Edit to manage action items. Each task can be assigned to a team (Tag Team, Trainer, or VQC) and marked as completed.
Notes
In the Notes tab, click Edit to add or update documentation. The rich text editor supports bold, italic, bullet lists, and links.
Creating and Editing Tags
Click Add Tag on the main page or Edit Tag in the detail dialog to open the tag form.

| Tag Name | Display name for the tag (e.g., "Penetration") |
| Pattern | Used to match folder names when processing data (case-insensitive) |
| Status | Current workflow status (Not Started, Photo Gathering, Training Started, Completed) |
| Custom Status | Optional override for status (e.g., "Priority" or "On Hold") |
| Next Steps | Action items with team assignments |
| Notes | Rich text documentation about the tag |
Exporting Tag Data
Export tag information as PDF or Word documents for reporting and sharing.
Export All Tags
Click the Export button on the main Tags page to export all tags at once.
Export options:
- Format - Choose PDF or Word Document (.docx)
- Include sections - Status, Next Steps/Tasks, Notes, Performance Metrics, Class Breakdown
- Filter by team - When including Next Steps, filter tasks by Tag Team, Trainer, or VQC
Export Single Tag
From the tag detail dialog, click the Export dropdown in the footer to export just that tag as PDF or DOCX.
Deleting Tags
To delete a tag, click the Delete button in the tag detail dialog footer, or use the actions menu (three dots) in the tags table. A confirmation dialog will appear before deletion.
Note: Deleted tags can be restored by an administrator if needed.
